Portmone is here to overcome that challenge by providing the service to let businesses verify customers identity in an instant, fraud-proof way that doesnt require the government-issued documents to be shared.

By using the mobile app, the customer performs the identity verification by capturing the photo of the government-issued document (driving license), selfie while holding the document and submits them to Portmone for verification. Once the identity is verified, the customer is able to share the information with 3rd party businesses by scanning the request in the form of QR code and approving it.
